Hi All,

Is Spello still around? Does anyone have a list of playing Coaches? How about Captain-Coaches?

IIRC, Chris McDermott Coached North a few years back but also had a run on the park?

Cheers in advance!

I can help you with this. There have been many playing coaches over the years, what period of time were you looking at, and which clubs?

Chris Mcdermott had 10 games for the roosters in 1997, of course tont mcGuiness had 1 with the tigers. Glenn Elliots 8 games in his Torrens coaching stint is prob worth mentioning too.

Yeah, good pick ups. I had a feeling Tony McGuinness did pull on the boots for the Tigers and you've confirmed it. I had completely forgotten that Glenn Elliot played for the Eagles.

Chuck in Darel Harts brief attempt at it in the mid 90's as well, lasted 2 or 3 games before the body said enough.
