First Hird, now Lloyd... going from bad to worse... :(
But if there's any coach in the league that can tactically adapt to this, it's Sheedy.
Cheers,
William

This is just unbelievable. When I heard about Jimmy, I was like "maybe Matty can captain the side now..."
Evidently not.
I dont really care because I am a collingwood supporter

All right, I want you to own up now:
Who walked under that ladder?:( :( :( :( :(
a time to reap a time to sow, I suppose... This season may be close to over for us, but I hope that it can help build the team. The absence of star players may allow the others to come up. I think that happened to an extent in 97,98,and 99 actually.
*tries to be optimistic*
Actually I'm thoroughly depressed... I was just thinking this morning 'at least we still have Lloydy' but whoops, thought too soon.

Or... which black cat crossed their path?
(And I'm not referring to the Geelong mascot, either) :D
Better luck, Bomber fans. You deserve it, after the last fortnight.
Cheers,
William
Hird unlucky and nasty injury.
Lloyd never liked the bloke so I don't care.
But as a brissy supporter it the chance to see what the kids can do. Without the stars they could surprise you, look at what Geelong are doing with a bunch of kids.
It's not totally hopeless yet.

It may be good in a way - force the guys to play simpler footy and require the whole offense to get involved. It seems like all the offense has been trying to revolve around Lloyd lately.

Well...I don't know about any ladders...but last week when I saw Carlton's injury list I sort of had a little smile and a laugh...then realised I better stop because karma would come back to get me...apparently even thinking about laughing at Carlton was bad enough, coz sure enough that karma has come back and bit me on the bloody bum. And it was me who joked if karma came back Lloyd would get injured....

In any event, it'll certainly be an interesting matchup on Friday night-- a bloody-but-unbowed Essendon versus a Carlton side desperate for a win.
Of course, you could flip those descriptions around in a vice-versa fashion for the clubs, and there would be no difference.
Cheers,
William
