Thanks to SMH- http://blogs.smh.com.au/sit/ (http://blogs.smh.com.au/sit/)

Big win for N9N over Seven news, i don't think the AFL game really helped Seven at all, there have been some crap games at 2pm Sundays and that was one of them.

Great numbers for Midsomer Murders, as it continues to take viewers off CSI and some off Greys........great move by the ABC.

Rove with a strong rating for his 90-100 minutes special from New York, with a pretty lacklustre lead-in as well, we'll have to see if Idol helps Rove next week (is it?).

Idol is in 2 weeks, there's another BB Sunday to go before next Monday's finale.

Rove tanked but the lead in was no good - good to see that people are not watching BB.

Why did 9 punt Backyard Blitz when it is rating so well?

Big numbers for BS and Seven news as usual, Surf Patrol slipped but not by a heap, Neighbours attracted over 200k more viewers then usual for their 'new' show, which was very Home and Away :thumbsd:

DOND with a great figure, Torchwood down, which is disappointing, could be due to the lead in as L&O: SVU slipped back to <1mil and Criminal Minds held steady for its 2hr debut (double episode).

And also Australian Story had a good rating with the story on Belinda Emmett, which is good to see.

I just think it's great that SBS is getting the love it deserves for this show. Nine getting embarrassed by it is a bonus!

The ads with him dressing up in stupid costumes is enough to turn people away.Like they've done with 20 to 1,the show will be focused on Bert and not the subject of the show.

Ratings are up by around 200K on last year so that's hardly a tank IMO. But agree the lead in was boring.

DOND with a great figure, Torchwood down, which is disappointing, could be due to the lead in as L&O: SVU slipped back to <1mil and Criminal Minds held steady for its 2hr debut (double episode).

Or it could be because Torchwood is yet to produce one good story, and was never going to work on a different network to Dr Who. (Which also hasn't had a good story so far this season, but Whovians can forgive that.)

Sevens movie tanked with a measily 603k, they better find a better one or they will lose more weeks with just one bad day.

TGYH and House with massive figures yet again, House really benefiting from the TGYH lead in.
Medium over the 1m mark for the first time this year (it believe) and Neighbours went back above the 1mil mark, nearly beating ACA :D:eek::D

Nine news was woeful last night compared to Seven, but its shows past 8:30pm did really well, with Cold Case and Without A Trace helped by Sevens terrible movie.

It boggles the mind that Ten can win Wednesday with House and Thank God Your Here and then as I read today plans on building the network around Big Brother, Australian Idol, The Biggest Loser, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader and So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. The answer is right there in front of them and they still can't see it.

Lost Season finale (?) did well holding a strong 1.17m over the 2hr period, but Nine still easily won the night with Sea Patrol and Getaway firing, thanks in part to Tens inability to put anything decent (ratings wise) on 7:30pm Thursdays.

Nine should win the week from here, although their Saturday night line-up isn't as strong as previous weeks.

Did anyone noticed that on Sunday night Channel Ten had Big Brother double eviction beaten by 60mins on Nine, Ugly Betty on Seven and Dirtiest jobs by ABC... They came in fourth with their "top" program... they suck big time. Its time they gave more time to programs people want or just fold all together.

Good figures for the Sat Night AFL, especially in Sydney and Brisbane where in Brisbane they got 152k which is great to see, one of (if not the) highest rating they've had for the season.

The Dame did well but no other real surprises.

Week 30:
Seven: 27.2%
Nine: 25.9%
Ten: 23.0%
ABC: 17.0%
SBS: 6.9%

Funniest home videos still rates? Oh god that is the worst show behind reality on TV.

Huge figures for the night AFL matches given they were all blowouts. Monster figure in Perth for FNF, especially given it was delayed by 2 hours.

It is winning by default. No wonder 9 pulled Hey Hey and put this show on - it keeps rating on a boring night for TV viewing

Check out my last post. Ten aren't listening to what people want. They seem to think more stunts like putting Kyle "The polished ****" Sandilands in the Big Brother house is going to return the show to it's former glory. Maybe 2009 will be thier year instead.
