If Judds groin problems continue....Can WCE still be considered a threat in September if Judd goes down for the year!!!

most definitely, but if our lead up target in hansen, our best tagger in stenglien, our spiritual captain in benny, our ferocious never say die kerry and the sometimes amazing staker all go at the same time as judd then i doubt it.

We can cover for one player.

he seems to have pulled up better..and its supposed to be in management mode..to have him as right as possible for the big dance(if we get there)..even then if he's sore, he's still capable of using up a good tagger.
no problemo-with all other pistons firing in the engine room.:thumbsu:

Absolutely, while we were all saying Judd shouldn't be playing the Eagles said it was a management issue and he will be OK. Guess what, he looked better last week and is said to have pulled up better. The Eagles medicos know what they're doing. Had a very similar situation with Cox earlier in the year where he kept being played, but the armchair medicos said he needed a rest.

Didn't Judd have it 12 times in the last quarter ?

And this was after whoever was commentating the tv coverage, said "Judd looks like he is struggling" mid way into the third quarter.

As the club have said from the get go - He is in management mode (which essentially means less mid week training) - and if anyone thinks he is struggling i urge you to watch his last quarter again.

Even before the 4th he had been hitting the packs at pace - moving more freely.

I think the bulldogs could be in for a bit of a rude shock

Judd will be back to early season form in a month or so, I suspect. He improved HEAPS from the game against brissy (I think it was). I suspect he'll do even better this week.

With all our key players back, I'm happy for Juddy to sit forward, and make the occasional midfield burst if he feels up too it. It seemed to work well on Saturday Night. See how we go week by week! :thumbsu:
