McVeigh and Watson would be up there...I thought McVeigh was our best today.

Some of those handpasses out of packs and around players he did today....sensational.

I reckon Kenobie has been the most consistent, even in games we have lost he has played well.

He is a star.

Jobe has a big chance for the B & F, but will have to compete with McVeigh, Fletch and maybe even Lucas

I think McVeigh is still well in front. Wouldn't be many games where he hasn't polled.
My top 5 so far:
1. M.McVeigh
2. D.Fletcher
3. J.Watson
4. S.Lucas
5. D.Peverill
Could probably put the last four in any order, but I think McVeigh's got it at the moment

Would James hird be 6th on that list?

I would have thought that given the brilliant start of Hirdy he would be somewhere at the top. Also McVeigh would be leading by my calculations. It should make for an intersting winner

Does he play well too consistantly to attract votes every week. Just reckon a lot of the times he'll get overlooked for somebody who had a better than their normal match.

That's the shit the coaches love.
Plus he wins clearances and gets goal assists. Just about the first stats the coaches check.
I thought his game on the weekend was sensational, he is playing with alot of confidence at the moment. Also, his work in the packs was sublime. He is really starting to live up to his name. :thumbsu:
12 first disposals, 31 disposals all up and he didn't make one "critical error".

He made one bad fumble in the last quarter that ended up in a Crows goal.
Having said that, it was only a bad fumble because it was Jobe that fumbled it. It was one you'd expect him or Hird to gobble up.

Very good game yesterday. Improving vastly with every game and most importantly more confident in his foot skills.

Yep, easily, was going to put him in and not sure the reasons why I didn't actually, I'll still stick by that top 5 though. If Hird comes back strongly I think that will be between those 6 by the end of the year.

jobe had some poor games earlier in the year, dont forget he got omitted for the last time we played hawthorn only to be a late inclusion. i love the boy he has come a long way.

This is funny, considering how many of YOU wanted him axed becasue he was hopeless and couldn't hit a target earlier in the year.

If only Monfries could follow his example...
Give the kid a chance. Remember how long it took Jobe to figure out where his head was? He was in and out of the team for 2 years as a very average "third-tall" forward.
Angus wouldnt be in our best no-injuries 22 at present (Davey pretty much took his spot in mine, since the start of the season) but then, Watson wasnt until last year either. There is alot to like about Monfries. If he explodes like Watson has (you could add Stanton and Winda here), and Dyson does the same... yeah, id be happy with that midfield :)

Stanton for mine.
His long, relentless running and adherence to the game plan will get him nolticed by the boys in the box.

McVeigh from Watson, Fletcher, Lucas, Stanton, Hird Welsh and Lloyd.

Do you mean win it at the end or leading now?
I think he's missed too many games or played injured too much to be leading now.

Winders not good enough to fit in there?

He's missed a couple. He might be there - similar to Lloyd perhaps. Davey too though he'll fall out. McPhee seems to poll very well. Didn't want to list them all though.

Hey,I love Angus....last year and the year before.
This year?....disappointed..thats all.
He will get back to that great form sooner rather than later.
Just wish he'd hurry the F up and do it! .:)

I hope the same for Dyson, but for him its more a proposition of finding form, rather that regaining it.

Finding good form 4 games in a row..thats what I want to see from RD.
Finding the ball on his own would be even better

Every team has their receivers. Dyson could be ours.

I mean both, almost.
He only missed a couple, and played injured in a couple....he was our most consistent over the first 6 or so rounds from memory, and showed last weekend he is seemingly over his injury....appeared to have bulked up a bit too....
I expect him to kick into his normal gear this weekend and carry on the end of the season like that...
