I know there isnt much point in me worrying about this for a couple of years yet, but what are the finiancial incentives like for premiership winners in the seniors, reserves and 18s.
include both divisions.

agree
I was just surfing through and found this thread..
IT IS NOT A BAD THREAD
As if there is no financial incentive.
I know clubs dont go out there to win flags for the money but in the end if you win a flag then the money would have to be pouring in.
Look at Glenorden 2006, won divi 2 then went upto divi 1 with alot of $$$$ and were able to buy alot of quality players and have at least shown some potential up there. They problably had alot of money before they went up there but still a flag wouldve helped!
West in 2007 was a tragedy but the fact is that they had money which was splashed around un-reasonably which cost them
If my club (Western Magpies) won the divi 2 flag then i know we would be all the better for it financially
Re-open this thread with some sensible opinion

I agree with some of what you are saying there Unit.. it is not as dumb as it sounds.. it is an evil necessity in our local game now.. if a club isnt financial then its on its way out.. simple as that.
Winning a flag does help becaue people jump on board successfull teams..
in a perfect world the WRFL (via a combination of the local councils) would put up some money for clubs to go to div 1 .. call it prize money or even if it was just a year off paying the leauge its annual fee... i am sure that would make the team going to div 1 a little more competitive !
however we all know that it would never happen so lets all just struggle together! haha

if there were any you lot would spend them in 12 months. go broke. almost fold. find a hidden stash of money. buy players and play off again.
