View Full Version : Barwon Heads Footballer with brain injury

I just wanted to state that I think Matt DEAN of the Barwon Heads Football Club senior team has shown tremendous courage in playing this season after being diagnosed with a brain impairment (known medically as Cave Man Syndrome) that has plagued him since birth. This impairment affects his ability to do things that normal humans do without thinking twice about, such as talk (which I can vouch for on many a Saturday night).
It is no wonder many an opponent has walked off the ground after playing on DEANO and questioned what planet this guy is from?!
I just wanted to say what a fantastic effort this is on your behalf, Keep up the good work Matt...

I would have thought most Barwon Heads players would have some sort of brain injury to be playing at that shithole.

haha you serious mate? The ground on situated as close to the coast as possible. Amazing clubrooms with brilliant views of the beach and bluff from the second floor...how many other clubs can say they have that!? Ground is also a very good ground, that never gets wet due to the sand that's deep under the grass which absorbs the water...I guess you'd rather a ____ing mud pit like the ammos ground gets when the day is slightly drizzling with rain...
How are the heads looking this year by the way?
