i reckon those big coats the goal ump's used to wear should be brought back specially if it is raining if it's not and the weather fine then up to them but when cold and raining they should be allowed to wear them

The AFL GU's have no wet weather gear, just the long sleeved option. In the SANFL atleast we have spray jackets. But if you make the mistake of wearing the rain jacket on a fine day, you will roast!

I usually tend to lean towards the long sleeves/rain jacket. I'd prefer to be too hot out there than freezing my balls off while it's pissing down. :thumbsu:

Who's that goal ump with the black hair and mo? That bloke's been around for ever! Possibly the world's first ever goal-umpiring millionaire.

hawks had him in saints game somehow missed the ball going a foot out of bounds but thats life he is usually very good so must have been very quick moving the ball and he missed it .

if it is raining have the lab coat on if it stops leave it with the ball boy he will look after it no probs so they won't get too hot if it doesn't rain
