I am absolutely disgusted in the quality, or lack thereof, umpiring so far this round.

Last night it was terrible both ways, it frustrated the hell out of me being at the game and having to watch the insipid performance those little trolls put on.

Tonight is another story though. In the first quarter I have watched North get absolutely crucified. I actually got up and walked away from the TV I was so frustrated (and I'm not even a Kangas supporter!)

When is the AFL going to do something about the substandard shit we have to put up with week in, week out? The inconsistency is disgraceful.

It's time for the powers that be to pull their heads out of the sand and do something about it.

I have been going to the footy since 1977 (yeah I'm old), and the umpiring has ALWAYS been seen to be bad.....it's the ambiguity and grey areas of the rules that allows a different interpretation by each and every whistleblower.

Collingwood v Carlton was a pitiful performace by the umpires, close to the worst all year.

And I see Tonight an umpie has disallowed Burton a legitimate speccie because of the gayest rule ever conceived :thumbsd:

hands in the back rule aside..

I disagree

So do you want to back that up with some sort of arguement as to why?
