Is that when a player is being tackled with the ball, then disposes of the ball correctly, the tackler then completes the tackle, the tackler is penalised for holding the man. (Hope that is clear)

There is of course a limit, in some instances when the tackler blatantly slings the player to the ground of course that should be a free.

It is harsh on the tackler because they have no idea if the player with the ball still has it or not. They are just trying to lay an effecting tackle. This is another example of the defensive player not being rewarded for good defensive practice, and breeds players dropping the ball and throwing their arms up playing for frees. We have more than enough of this already.

I hope you all know the situation I am trying to describe here. If not just ignore me.

The one that annoys me is -:

When a player has run too far, he is free kicked. It should be a ball up as the opposition player has done nothing to earn that free.
In most cases , no pressure is put on the player who has run too far.

you can't have that , otherwise you will have players from thr 50 metre tucking the ball under their arm (rugby) running towards their goal for say 20 metre's , getting a ball up , a good tap out and bang it's a goal , if you run to far it's holding the ball and a free to the opposition ,
Sorry

Yeah that rule does annoy me.

Just like the hands in the back. All a forward player has to do is lead, then stop suddenly and its hands in the back. Its human nature to use your hands to stop yourself.

God i hate that.

I think you can only leave that one up to the ump , he is closer than we are to the action and calls' it as he see's it and i would say that the ump is 95% right with his decision , it is a tricky play in our game but that is why we have umpire's without the umpire you have no game ,
