thats bent. hopefully we'll sneak home and the eagles will aswell, so we can take 2nd spot back. can you guys believe it? a win gets us 2nd, a loss could get us 7th. when was the last time a result decided such a significant ladder movement?

We can do it. The draw over the last few rounds will mean there will be significent switching of positions. Good to see.

I think all of the teams below geelong will have a very mixed last few games - including us. dissapointing to see clubs with percentage close to ours after we were so 'clear' after 15 rounds
That's deliberate

We will win and win easily this week lads . i'm very confident....even moreso then my 10 goals prediction last week i posted on the Essendon Board that upset afew people - won't be doing the same this week don't want to upset anyone.
Nonetheless won't suprise me to see a no change list for this week..
My reasoning for any easy win is as follows-
Add: 4 Goals - Crawford, Vanders, Smithy and Browny into the team from last start - plus we are a 5 goal better side from when we last met , add 3 goals for MCG as opposed to Gabba - gives us 12 goals better
Subtract -4 Goal (McGrath's contribution last start - add 4 goals Jonathan Brown add 4 goals better side then last start - gives you 4 goals better
12 - 4 equals (8)...Hawthorn by 8 goals...
That's my reasoning and i'm sticking to it...i promise to be humble in my coments after the game when everyone congatulates me.......
Go Hawks

Love ya work
Although I hope your right, We're both different teams now. Looking back on a game and determining the result will never work! I hope we win by that much though. :)

Week to week its funny. Along with thatsdeliberate i'm super confident of taking the choccies this week. In actual fact i dont think Brisbane will win another game for the year.
We could but won't.
The league is so tight at the moment that you would expect at least one upset...

The glass is half full.
Even if we lose, our hard work means we will stay in the eight. ;)
As was said earlier, both completely different teams to round 1. Lions bringing in the form and the fact that they smashed the pies at the same ground 2 weeks ago..
I dont know if its worth getting too excited about beating Essendon, considering the fact that the coach is in the process of looking for another job?

add to that 6 goals from buddy, 3 goals from ruffy, 3 goals from boyle,
that gives us 12 extra goals....
i am seriously confidant of a win this week, i wasnt that overly confidant againts the bombers coz i thought that they had more to play for..
but againts the lions its a determination thing and with boyler back now the guys are back to their hard running confidance......
your theory has won me over........
go hawks.........

if we win this saturday i think our credibility will go up a serious notch for the rest of the season and stay there. i think its the most important game of the last 4.
