Peter Crimmins Medal night, A few mates and I were thinking about going this year, never been before. Anyone here been? Is it worth the $145 bucks? i'd say there would be a 3 course meal provided and drinks. Would be a good night. Mitchell won it last year, very hard to pick this year.
I reckon they could give it to Sammy again now this year....

Just wondering if anyone has been to one of these nights and, if so, what they're like?
And what do you get for your $145 admission???

3 course meal, drinks (beer, wine/champagne, soft drinks), entertainment (band plays later in the evening after the formalities), speeches from retiring players.
Have been to the last 2, and am planning on attending again this year. Think we already have a table of 10 arranged.
Awesome night and well worth the $145 for the 'optic nerve' alone. Girls out number the guys about 2 to 1 and are out to impress:thumbsu:
The after party is a MUST!

Sorry Beckers but they have got rid of the after party, the boys go and have a private party in what was the Oak Room.
It is a great night, well worth the money (goes for about 5 hours). I'm certainly looking forward to this year's one.

Hey Hawkette, are you kidding me....they got rid of the after party!!! Ah well, i suppose after what i saw going on there i shouldn't be overly surprised!
Were you at the Essendon game last week? We had a pretty big group (about 10 of us) but i didn't see you at the Cricketers?.

On a slightly different slant, I have always loved the way we don't have our B&F until after the Grand Final! I can't believe that other clubs have theirs in the middle of the Finals!

Can't make it this year as i have my cousins wedding on Gold Coast on the Friday 5th October, fly back sometime Saturday 6th (which ever flight i can get?) in time for another wedding of one of our good friends (BK) ;-) Sunday 7th. Hope i don't fall over or spill something on my one and only suit on the Friday:eek:
Also won't be at the Brissy game tomorrow as i am working :(
