Just out of curiosity, who would you say?

Brendan Lade by half the length of Subiaco
Brett Ebert consistently kicks from outside 50 comfortably.
Daniel Motlop, has the longest recorded banana kick in history, and should have a goal of the year award to prove it soon.
Honorable mention: Narelle Lonie when on song can belt it a fair way.

IIRC either Grose or Lee supposedly has a huge boot.
Lade, Ebert, Motlop and Lonie would be the longest kicks
Junior Burgs can roost it a fair way also
alas none of the above can belt it as far as Dewy could (drop punt)
Will never forget the time Ladey roosted one at Kardinia park from full back and it landed OVER the centre circle

Definitely gotta go with Ladey, Shaun Burgoyne, Ebert and Lonie (when he actually decides to kick it)

Willits has a decent hoof on him too, but he's wayward.

Lade, Shaun, Ebert both length and accuracey. Brett has improved his kicking this year, hasn't shanked the ball too often. Remember Choco at the Port Club after the August showdown last year said, he's faster than his father, can pull in bigger marks than his father but there's one thing he can't do as well as his father...... but we're working on it. Looks like they did over the pre-season.
In no particular order:
Ebert
Lonie
Batsanis
Shaun
Lade
Bastanis is a fair kick im told

So why isn't he playing in the midfield?

So why isn't he playing in the midfield?Because he's our highest goalkicker?

Is 4 to 6 goals a game more useful than 30 to 40 disposals in the midfield? I would like to see Brett spend a bit more time in the midfield in the long run, but at the moment he is doing the business up forward. Choco last year was playing to the crowd a little when he made those comments.
But most importantly, Brett this year is playing with a hunger and attitude that near enough is not good enough. The kid wants to succeed and he can only do that by performing at near 100% efficiency, where ever the coach sticks him.
