This has become my schtick of late. I think the next I'm going to make one might say "McMahon sucks".
Stealth, my last post over there was tongue in cheek. Shins and I get along pretty well , hopefully we'll be able to catch up for a beer in rd 10.

Actually that wasn't really for the last post there, just the thread in general.
It is obvious that the Roos supporters aren't taking this whole thing too well, and in some cases I don't blame them. I just want to keep it civil and not start a war between boards.
I'm sure you're aware already, but anything that could be construed as uncivil that i've posted on your board today is also toungue in cheek.
From my perspective, you're all welcome on our board. I think the majority of heat passed between our clubs, and most others for that matter is healthy. Its what the game's all about.
I'm sure you guys understand our reaction. I cant imagine you'd be too thrilled if Doc Aylett came out and said similarly sensative comments about the Dons.
But i do admit that some of what your Prez said wasnt too far off the mark. Some of it was also ignorant. Either way, its just not his place to be saying it. Thats the main sticking point for me anyway.
Hopefully your invitation for a beer extends past just Shinners.

Carlos, no worries. I've had no problems with anything you've posted and if you're around I can probably manage to extend it beyond Shins :eek:

Stealth I don't have a problem with you asking us not to go on their board, just a pity that the Roos people didn't ask the same of their people, we have had to put up with their rubbish & yet nothing was said, until we went on their board asking them to stay away.

I agree with Carlos. You're welcome as far as I'm concerned as long as respect is shown and I'd expect the same from us.
Just my opinion, but if Stealth and Shinners want to set something up along those lines, now might be a good time.
Dingster I don't have a problem with that, we have always got on well with the Roos people, but Tash & others came here talking crap, when we went to your board to say it is not on, we got blamed, go figure.

There's nothing wrong with posting on other boards; I do it occasionally, but try not to out of revenge or spite if you can. I know a few of them have been pests over here, but I don't think two wrongs make a right, is all.
It hasn't really been that bad, I just didn't want it to get worse. The one thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the whole congratulatory "tashi stood up to the mean nasty bomber people" thread.
And there have been so many McMahon threads already that I didn't see a real need for another one.

Most Roos fans will be in - we got a great turnout for the Roos vs Hawks meetup. How about Wally? Windyhill?

Round 10 is actually going to be my first match back in town, and since I'm staying for good this time, maybe I ought to finally get together with some people.
