Wayne Carey has rated David Neitz as one of the toughest defenders he's ever played on.

It's probably true but singing praises for our champion captain won't change the fact that Wayne Carey is best suited to applying for a job to be a road speed bump

We're not going to well at the moment but atleast were haven't sunk to the level of having to send Neitz to the backline. I even remember one year (I think 2003) we were so undermanned in the back half Cam Bruce lined up on Richo.

coleman medal or not neitz should have always been a centre half back, best time to go back was after the retirement of ingerson

The way poor ol' Neita is kicking at the mo... I would play him in the back pocket.

I remember having Miller start on Richo but after about 5 minutes and 3 goals Fergeson got the job. Richo got about 18 marks and 26 touches and won them the game.

Bruce played on Tredrea for a bit once and did alright.

If Neitz stayed back then we wouldn't have made the finals in 2002. Who would have kicked our goals?

Neitz holds Melbournes goalkicking record

+ AFL all time record for most marks dropped on the lead.

Should have played somewhere where breaking even was a win ie the backline

has started to do that a bit the last 1 or 2 years i have noticed. If you had a brain you would realise his first 3 years were played in the backline and he also played mainly there in 2000 and any other time when we started going shit

A Carlton supporter giving one of our players crap?

Hilarious.
