At the moment I'm just watching this game on Seven's match of the round which is shown on Saturdays around midnight.
Anyone remember this game, or more importantly go to it?
I went to it, one of the few games i was able to get to that year. Great comeback in the last quarter which in my opinion was sparked by Jason Johnson who if i remember correctly had only played a few games at that stage. He finally starte winning the ball out of the center for us to get the ball going forward.
Also remember the total stuff up kick by Silvagni on the goal line which bounched past a Carlton player and into the arms of Scotty Lucas who kicked truely to put us in front:D

I have got the final few seconds when SOS rooted it completely handing it over to scotty. It's encoded in MPEG format. Once I find the disc I will upload it and let you all relive the exitment.

I was in the ponsford MCC members lower level. Fantastic.

I was there, in the Ponsford stand I think. Essendon were down by about 25 points at about the 20 minute mark of the last quarter, and one Essendon supporter got up to leave. I remember yelling at him "Don't go, don't go" with a couple of other supporters After the game I was really glad that he'd missed out on the win.

It's still one of the games I remember best, just the feeling of elation when that siren went.

Memories....I was only 10 at the time...

when s hitvagni stuffed up that kick,and Scotty swooped , and nailed it, I poured a pot over my head.
