Now i have no great interest in the Kangaroos but it is blatantly obvious that the umpires have got something against Glenn Archer that clouds their decision making. From yesterdays game I saw 4 50/50 decisions go against him and there have been many more this season. The AFL are a joke, discouraging players to play like Archer and encouraging players to play like Lonie.

I still can't get over the umpiring yesterday.
I thought West Coast's mid week whinge to the AFL was embarrassing, but obviously it was a smart move by them.

I agree the umpiring was terrible.
Umpiring was crap but I've seen worse. Get over it Zebra, they didn't lose the game for you.

They had a large impact in a close game.
It was a joke.

It's a shame to see the Archer's of the game being umpired out of it. :thumbsd:

7 goals from plucked out of the arse free kicks (compared to 1) suggests otherwise.

Its a shame to see a freat of the game like Archer not being able to get used to the new rules like most other players.
Im a big Archer fan, as courageous as hell but in recent years has given away more than his share of 50m penalties for holding players up and talking back to umpires and frees for hitting players arms.

The other one where the umps love to ping Archer is when he has the gall to attack the loose ball........someone comes in 2nd to the contest, usually applies an illegal tackle (in the back, too high) and the ump can't wait to blow the whistle & give the theatrical bow to signal 'holding the ball'.

In that case it must also irk you to see him constantly putting his (aged) body on the line at every contest, and wishing your team had at least one player with the balls or skill to do the same.:thumbsd:

Archer is a thug, i would penalise him for anything.
He cant get over there are defensive rules that he has to follow, no matter how good he thinks he is

I guess maybe it's not your fault that you know absolutely nothing about football ; but you really shouldn't advertise the fact.

well you will probably have heard of Chris Grant who also does that, and scott west puts his body on the line a far bit as well as dale morris and luke darcy. i admit overall we are a soft team, but we do have a few tough players.

It's not just Archy i.e Fev, umpiring decisions go against him because of what hes done. I don't understand why they would go against Archy Bear though, he hasn't done anything wrong.

Even though I'm a big fan of Archer and everything he has done, he has become absolutely like you said recently.

I must live on another planet and watch the wrong Games.
I admire Archers courage but apart from Judd and Lloyd he is the most Looked after player in the AFL.
He can hit, Push, Shove, Belt players on the back of the head when they mark against him,Grab Players Jumpers after they have marked to stop them playing on, Kick the ball out of bounds at right angles without penalty, Creep Five Metres over the mark everytime Etc Etc, yet everyone thinks the sun shines out of his Arse.
