To put up a stance against the saveessendon group and to make an official website and call up sen etc?

I think all of these websites are missing the point a bit. Whether I agree or disagree with the decision not to renew Sheeds' contract, I still think the whole thing was handled poorly by the club.

The board will know it's fate after the next election and that's the way these things should be decided.

My opinion is, the club handles a lot of things poorly off field - memberships, memorabilia sales - mainly customer service stuff. Maybe it is time for a shake up at the next election to try and get these things right as well as pushing for our next flag.

Yeah it really is getting pathetic, the 2 faceless cowards that finally went public today on SEN are an absolute joke. They are sprouting that in the 2 weeks since Sheedy was sacked they have 800 signatures. Fantastic. 2 1/2 percent of our members support this ludicrous idea to toss out the board and reappoint Sheedy for 2 more years. These people do not realise that they are making our great club a laughing stock. Why would they want to sack Peter Jackson, a man who is widely regarded as one of the best sporting administrators in Australia, a man who in his time at the club has had a huge hand in making us the force we are. Is it any coincidence that one of the instigators of this rubbish is Clinton Casey's brother. He obviously was taking notes when his brother was ousted from Richmond on how to embarrass and disrupt a club. These people should hand in their memberships, they are not wanted. Let's move ahead and build for the future, not argue about what is now in the past.
And as for Patrick Smith, he is simply a twit. How can a man who convinces his newspaper to send him overseas so he can cover womens golf be taken seriously. Butt out Patrick.
