Was looking at this photo from 1993.

In particular, look at Neitz and Richardson. Neither look overly muscly or daunting for that matter. Who would have thought that they'd turn into such superstars of the game? Look how skinny they were.

Just goes to show, that we need to give our kids time to actually grow up. They are still boys a lot of them, and we need to be patient and not write them all off now just because they are still growing.

All those saying to trade the Kennedys and the Bowers of the team... hindsight is a wonderful thing, and in ten years time, you may look back and thank God the club didn't listen to you ;)

The picture below just shows that you need to give kids time to go from being a boy to being a man. They will come good. The only thing we can do is be patient, and stop writing them off because they are too skinny, and not creating the physical prescence we want. We expect too much too early, and I think it's because our club has always been successful, and we are impatient.

Give them time. They will come good. Keep the faith and enjoy the ride :)

If you could post the picture so we could all have a look it would be great :D

Bigger picture people, bigger picture!

I know that the youngsters we have now are all going to fill out and be monsters...

And better yet, with the right development, the right coach and a few more years experience, we will all be raving about how good these kids are :D

It just keeps getting better and better

Wonder if I'm the only one heartily sick and tired of being told how to support my team? Believe it or not sweetheart, I was barracking for The Blues pretty well before you decided to become the clubs weeping conscience.

Please let me know exactly when it's okay to question a bloke's value to the club won't you? I know I can't do that myself - you have to let me know when a player is officially "no longer worth pursuing".

And when it's okay not to go to a game and risk being labelled a useless supporter by someone who pretty much never goes. Why don't you get yourself a job in childcare where all the little grubs will hang on your every dumbarse word?

We don't need your advice.

See you at the game tomorrow....................oh that's right....................

Yeh Richo and Neitz didn't look overly intimidating but Ilija Grigic sure did.
He was a pretty scary looking kid, maybe thats saying that the good ones are the timid looking kids.

Just because you attend games doesn't mean you know what the hell you are talking about. Any supporter with a brain in his or her head knows that key position players such as Kennedy for example, need plenty of time to mature.

Here Here.........can we trade you instead to another board........have you finnished bulking up yourself and this is as good as youre going to get?

All recruits bulk up......the good ones, the shit ones..........just bcoz a player still has weight to put on has nothing to do with whether you should keep/trade him.............ppl with brains at the club you would expect make decisions on a players ability......not on how much weight he still can potentially gain

Yeah, like Courtney Johns. He's only in his third year & 22 years old. Carey's breakout year was 1992. He was 21 but that was his fourth year. And he was a freak.

Haha. There are some very weird people on this board, and it's only a relfection of the kind of people you are in your life. It's weird. I'd much rather be happy, and try to be positive, and ****, I am allowed to try to look on the bright side instead of continually be negative and farting around picking on the bad things.

Thylacine, i dont knwo what your problem is. I don't care. You're trying to stop me from being positive and from actually trying to look forward about this club and the team, and I'm happy doing so. You just try to make a mockery of me every single time. Couldn't care less what you think, we all know you're a negative Scruge.

You try to make my stay on this board a very negative, less-enjoyabe one... well, sorry, but it's not working. I enjoy my stay on here because i realise that people like you are in the vast minority, so i take very little notice of anything you say - especially from now on.

You turn every single positive attempt at posting into a negative one, doesn't matter who it is that is posting, you turn it around and bag it out. doesn't matter who it is, you always do it.

Says a lot about what kind of person you are.

I am happy supporting my team, I enjoy looking forward, I enjoy trying to see positives from our team, and that's the way i'll stay.

So thanks for your useless comments and time. Next time, you'll know that i'm only pitying what you say.

Tragic. Love to play but I'm off to the game. Hope I see some SexySquad boys today. Those fellas are supporters - and funny to watch.

Hahaha. You're so immature. And it's really quite amusing. The only reason i'd pay any attention to your posts is because they are quite pathetic and hilarious actually.

Keep them up, someone has to be the laughing stock on here.
