Quite a nice comparision
- Both came from nowhere to be more than servicible this year
- Both the half forwrd flank type who love to kick a goal
- Both get around 17 disposels per game
- And both are extremely SMALL
Very close to call but Benny for me and yes im biased

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
you tool
Rodan for me. One of the feel good storys of the year.
Roden's an ordinary footballer in career best form, no doubt benefiting from a temporary under-the-radar-effect. Who is McGlynn? :)

I think its quite hilarious you haven't heard of McGlynn parrot, as he as achieved more in 5 games than Gibbs has for the whole year.

IMO Rodan has been consistantly good all season...McGlynn was on fire the first half of the season and seems to have been quieter in the 2nd half with oppositions putting more time into him
Rodan gets the nod

Does anyone put anytime into Rodan. Quite the compliment to McGlynn that he needs attention in a side that contains Crawf, Mitchell, Hodge, Lewis, Bateman.
Collingwood tried to shut him down with Brodie Holland - they failed miserably.

I kinda agree, second half of the year he hasnt had much of an impact, first year of football, so i think he will be able to handle more opposition pressure next year
Rodan has been excellent this year.
Excellent.
Still remember Rodan trying to tag Marc Murphy and this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rveg-cL4Bag) happened. :)

While in the richmond colours you cant blame the individual player, something about them tigers just takes away a mans spirit and general competitiveness

I don't think spirit was the issue. More Roden's lack of talent. Having a great season, but will always be a player of limited ability, who will rely on 110% efforts to compete at this level. Some teams like Port value these sort of players, and the Pies actually have a whole midfield filled with them. :)

You do know he was coming back from a knee ReCo last year, so he wouldn't have been in peak condition.

Yes Rodan was picked up with the last pick of last years draft whilst i believe McGlynn was an early pick the year he was picked up. Dont really think you can compare the 2.

LOL lack of talent like that Barnaby French who Carlton picked up, became their lead ruckman, after being about number 4 in our pecking order :)

If thats the case i'll take your word for it. Still i dont know people just pluck 2 random players like McGlynn and Rodan and start a poll.
