ok... maybe a thread to help those to link titles and artists to songs they heard..
i heard this one on sat nite, the swans v. richmond game.. before the game started.. they were profiling michael o'loughlin.. showing slo-mo highlights of him in action...
the song is a lazy, slowish tune... with the following words/chorus..
"i'm spending all my time...... driving round.."
etc etc... thats all i can remember..
any idea? :P

Yup, Bragg is right, it's Machine Gun Fellatio. Channel 10 used it, and I remember being surprised that they used Machine Gun Fellatio.

Might just be Channel 10 ..Sports tonight use TOOL on heaps of the Ad breaks Big Brother use a re-mix of Marc of Cain Secret life flog heaps of Melbourne Bands Motor Ace , Even .....meanwhile over at 7 & 9 they are still flogging tragic old ditties or worse still putting old classics thru the hammond organ EG : Getting Better " by the Beatles churned into dribble for better homes and gardens ...YYeeech.... Apparently it happens in Advertising all the time ...young ad designer has music changed by senior partners to something 20 years older ...as heard from John Saffran 9( 3RRR) who used to be in advertising.......now where was I going with this post ( rant)..????.................

Anyone ever notice that Neighbours on channel 10 seems to be contracted to Jebediah....only ever hear Jebediah on that show. That though is a very good thing :D
