B's just cracked it into the finals in our last game, finished 11-7 but lost 5 of those games under a goal, could very well go on with it.

First time we've fielded C's for yonks, finished 6th, good performance from the boys.

Juniors were all thereabouts, 11's into the finals this week & all the other grades improving from last year. Unfortunately we had to give some walking orders to some of the parents over behavior & self promoting issues last year, they went to the clubs that deserved them & we are stronger for it.

Good on yer - wish our club had the balls to do the same.

Yep, a few of the junior parents are helping the seniors out with the car parking, then hopefully get to see some of the ressies & part of the A's before heading off to see The Chooks play their 20 year premiership anniversary game.
Big payday for the club this weekend with the home finals & the littleys ending their season from 9.20 on Sunday & Fitzroy hosting 5 junior finals after that. The amount of steak, onions, snags, eggs, bacon & bread ordered for the next two days would sink the ark.

& yes Fatty, we don't exist to dazzle the bar drunks with flags in the juniors. A lot of these parents just can't seem to understand that & no we won't play little Rupert on the ball all game every game at the tender age of 8, nor give game plans to the under 6's. Could be the reason that 40 odd % of our seniors graduated through the junior grades.
