From a carlton's supporters perspective, i think Lance still has a fair bit to offer since he is now on top of his weight issue and can now focus on his football. Carlton though still may opt to trade him while he still has some market value to further cement their future and gain another 2nd or 3rd round pick in exchange for him. Which brings me to the question, if Lance was up for grabs would you take him? Why, why not?

He's slow and undiscplined (weight problems). Yesterday's man IMO.

Having said that, he has about 2000% more worth than Rocca. :)

Lance Whitnall...seems as though he peaked at 20yrs of age and has rapidly gone down hill since

If Whitnall was put up for trade you might get a 4th round pick at best

You have a whore team. I'm moving closer to Glenferrie Oval

Anyway, no because the games has passed him, and his knees are suspect.

No...his much-vaunted "footy brain" can't make up for the many glaring deficiences in his game (pace, fitness, skills)...it'd be good if he finished his career at Carlton though, could probably play a good mentoring role to some of the kids and after so long he deserves to finish as a one-club man.
