Read in the Australian that Luke Ball may be selected tonight even though he doesnt train with the Club.
Had 50 possessions with Xavier in his first game this year.

What a wrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Koscithke, Loewe and Gehrig have all had their injuries worsened by appalling player management by the StKilda coaching staff.

Resist the temptation to play Ball this year... Collinwood didn't play Cloke last year and look at him now.

Saints put an underdone Riewoldt in for 7 games last year, look at him now.

I'd give a young player 4-5 games in the seniors just so he knows the demands and speed of the game. Surely helps in preparing for a full season next year and beyond.
It will be interesting to see if Riewoldt or Cloke finishes off the season better.

being a collingwood supporter who obviously has the inside word on our club could you please explain what the coaching & medical staff have done to create the 'appalling management' scenario in reference to these players.

grant thomas said on 927 this morning that ball will not be playing seniors this week but will turn out for springvale. if he's good enough to play this year then i say get him into the team whenever he is available, the experience will give him a taste of what is required next year.

kossi and loewe were cleared by the medico's to play as was explained to and accepted by the afl. gehrig has been cleared of o.p and has strained his adductor.

you have received your 'public information' from the likes of tony shaw in the media, no wonder you have no idea.

I'm glad the club resisted the urge to play Luke this week. There's no need to rush him into the side. With what he has already promised this is a kid who we will more than likely build our team around for the next 10-12 years (Not putting any pressure on him of course ;)).

**** off hotpie. The interest you and your fellow pies seem to have in St Kilda is bordering on obsessive. Hasn't your psychologist told you to let 1966 and the 1992 Elimination Final go?

I think it was Stan Alves... or maybe Tim Watson....

Anyway all I was saying that there is no point in killing the kid. Give hime time to mature... by all accounts he will be a champion

It seems common sense has prevailed

Go Saints!!

every has cleared st kilda of any thoughts of mismanagement. there has been no mismanagement of injuries to players, it was another beatup by the media.

the hysteria around here is something to watch at times, especially when something relates to st kilda.

1966 Grand final... no.... you deserved it

I admit 1970, 1977 and 1979 haunt me a bit

But the 1992 Elimination final? You must be kidding. If we lost that game its Darren Millane's fault.

Did StKilda win the flag that year?
