We're currently 7th, and the only way we'll miss out is if we lose to the Hawks next week, and Essendon win their last two games. Am i the only one who thinks that's very unlikely?

I don't think we'll miss but we'll only be there to make up the numbers.

Somehow i think West Coast supporters would love to see their side lose to Essendon if it meant knocking the Swans out of the 8.

Its quite immaterial really, it'll just be one week sooner. There is no way we can match it with any of those top 6 teams on current form.

Let's hope Richmond cancel that out today then.

You thought wrong.

We are praying that Geelong beats Port and we can win vs Essendon.

Gives us 2nd spot and a reasonable chance in the finals. We nned to play all our finals at home (bar GF) and need that weeks break.

We are on our knees, and clinging precariously to the finals. Too many injuries, too inconsistent, Kerr out, Judd reduced to impact of a rookie...

It would be a miracle for us to get in the GF, let alone win it.

Where you finish is none of our concern. We are worried about our own form.

Finish 3rd and play Port away in the 1st final and we will get spanked, make no mistake about it.

swans dont deserve to play finals IMO. Finals are a reward for teams that have played well all year and fought hard to be where they are. Swans have done neither. As it stands we have an undermanned defense, poor forward line who cant score enough points to win, and a midfield that has now lost its way, injuries piling up, not to mentioned every other team in the comp knows just how to beat the swans now. Its over.
