America’s Next Top Model 0.836m AFL: Geelong v Port Adelaide 0.752m
Anchorman 0.781m NRL 0.571m
Happy Gilmore 0.556m

Nine easily won the night on the back of a strong post 8:30pm line-up, where Seven gave the night to Nine with a terrible decision to put The Anchorman on, someone will need to explain that move to Sevens hierarchy......while nine choice was good with over 1m average.

Kath and Kim slipped as expected, around the 2m mark is still massive, but i think it may drop next week to around the 1.7-1.8m mark, while Earl will probably go the way of Surf Patrol, down.

Aussie Idol down on last week even with K&K down 500,000 viewers, while 60 minutes gained 200k.

Midsomer Murders did very well again for the ABC, securing them 3rd spot for the night, with almost the exact same % as last week.

Rove gained more viewers from last week, with a weaker lead-in, but they can thank Seven for steering most of the younger audience away to them and to Nine.

Big night coming up tonight as Edit: City Homicide first ep is unleashed, it should get over 1.6m for all the hype and ads sorrounding it, with Californication (sp?) also premiering tonight at 9:45pm for Ten.

Queens Castle- about 790k

Wow, a huge audience for Border Security and THANK GOODNESS they finally put The Force after it as it rated over 1.8m, it took them long enough to realise that Surf Patrol and BS don't go very well together.

City Homicide had a very good premiere with 1.65m over the 2 hours, which is bloody good, it will be interesting to see its rating over the 1 hour period as Criminal Minds gained quite a few viewers going back to the 1 hour timeslot.

Footy Classified was up in viewers and it was a good episode as the players faced the media questions and vice versa.

The King sort of bombed for Nine it didn't fire anywhere near as much as they would have expected seeing as it set new records on Pay-tv when it aired.

Californication didn't really fire for its first episode, it did alright considering the competition but will it go the way of Torchwood, which had similar first up ratings, IIRC.

And to end, what was so special on ACA??

The week so far:
Seven 29.1
Nine 25.5
Ten 21.7
ABC 18.3
SBS 5.4

Antiques 0.601m Numb3rs 0.939m

Good numbers for ME and RSPCA AR, down on last weeks figures though, probably due to Idol even though it got a 1.3m, a little higher then last weeks Simpsons double.

TTTBYD dipped below the 1m mark, Nine won't be too pleased with that, CSI: Miami cleared the 1m mark as did CIA, CSI was beaten by All Saints and Tens NCIS repeat, but CIA held strong for Nine and probably secured them second place as the other networks did fire after 9:30pm.

ACA fell dramatically after its excellent Monday, and Seven news regained viewers in Melbourne last night, i guess the 'boycott' was only for one night, or they just wanted to see Bert.

Sea Patrol dropped once again as SYTYCD premiered with a solid 1.2m over the 90 minutes.

Great figure for TFS as Sydney and Brisbane viewers tuned in to watch the Andrew Johns interview, a 1.2m is close to, if not the highest figure for TFS for the year, it helped Nine win the night as Seven failed once again in the post 8:30pm slot.

'Time of Your life' and 'Fight For Life' had pretty woeful figures, yet Seven still managed to beat Ten for the night and is still ahead of Nie for the week.

Seven news in Melbourne beat Nine news in Melbourne, the boycott it seems, just involves the players.

Ten: 23.6%
ABC: 16.5%

Decent ratings for the AFL, 377k in Melbourne is big for Brisb vs Geel...with good ratings in both Adelaide and Perth.

The Crocodile special did well for Nine but Dame Edna and White Chicks didn't perform very well, but AFHVS snuck over the 1m mark.

Not much else out of the ordinary, with Seven winning yet another week, and going into the AFL finals series Ten should win most Saturday nights.

Week 35
Seven 27.4
Nine 26.4
Ten 23.3
ABC 16.2
SBS 6.8

Anyone know if the figures for the Athletics are good for SBS or would thier normal shows rate better? I must admit all week there has not been anything great on the other channels so watching sports like the hammer throw, pole vault etc is quite interesting

Probably less in the prime slots, but may be decent with Mottram on tonight.

I wonder why so many more people in Brisbane watched the NRL TFS than in Sydney? I would have thought Johns was of equal interest...

Last time I checked 165K was LESS than over 300K......

Hmm, it would help if I looked at the Brisbane number instead of the Melbourne one, wouldn't it? :)
