Ive not been a big LRT supporter in these forums, but heres a prediction. If he plays a blinder tomorrow, he could just help inject an x factor that allows anything to happen come finals, esp if we get back a reasonably able TK, Dempster plays well and Buchannan comes back firing. Who knows... the team might just pull together at the right time yet again.

LRT, Dempster and Barry all played well, hope them 3...well LRT and Dempster are kept in the team for next week.
After a few nerves in the first term LRT was fine, presented his big frame as a target and held a few marks and disposal was fine. Never really got tested on his defensive pressure though but he did what he had to do today and for that he did very well.
Agree Cas he did his job well, got through ok, i did however want to see him under the pump a bit, then again i didnt, so alls well that ends well.. I forgot how tall he was, and how small our back line looks with him in it.. Gota love the look of our back 6 now.

well, he didnt play a blinder, but I have to concede, it seemed good having him there. He played a solid role, mind you, he still looks as awkward and nervous as ever, and I always close my eyes when he gets the ball, but good on him:thumbsu:

i watch Leo with one eye open. i swear between the two of them, and then Dempster, that they are gonna give 1/2 the supporters a nervous breakdown through the finals. but you gotta love em. they are like little kids who just get the ball and run run run till they get caught...:o

mate, my family are devoted fans of Three Blokes (LRT), in fact my young bloke was very close to getting a No 30 on his new swans jumper at the start of the season, but ended up not getting a new jumper (No 1 on the old one) and is probly getting ROK's No 5 next year (he wears goodesy's 37 for his club)
but LRT is still learning, seriously, he's barely played 100 games of Australian football, in total, and i believe he will be a great central defender over the next 8-10 years....his 05 GF performance was the foundation of our flag, could easily have been given the norm smith, as i think everyone here would agree
i'd love for dempster to really come good...he has the pace, and an enormous kick, just needs composure....he went okay yesterday
leo is leo, will never change and we probly don;t want him to
