Making a sub-forum within Roster Watch called "Roster Watch - Hall of Fame"

We can move the roster watch threads of retired players into there as a permanent separate shrine to those players, and also keep track of their activities in retirement. It will also allow the main roster watch board to be kept exclusively for active rostered players.

Could probably move the Michael Voss Appreciation thread into the Hall of Fame, as it has now been a year since he played his last game.

We could also create threads in the Hall of Fame for other retired legends such as Lynch, Hart, Leppitsch, Keating etc

Roster Watch has been a fantastic success and its potential to serve as an online encyclopedia of our club would be enhanced even further.

Just a suggestion.

So does every x-player go into the hall of fame, or do they need to meet a certain criteria?

Certain criteria I'd imagine.

Don't know if Spaanderman qualifies.

I like the idea of participating in some sort of BigFooty Hall of Fame induction process. Does it need a new board or can we just have a Hall of Fame sticky, with links to their respective threads and maybe a short (or long) bio?

I didnt really anticipate being so formal.

Just a separate archive of Roster Watch threads for our retired greats.

While I like the notion of it, I'm not sure about having a sub-forum with a sub-forum within a .... well you catch my drift. Quite like the induction process idea too. Might have a chat to the admin guys and see what they think.

The other option is to have a sticky at the top of this board with links to the relevant threads.

What about another sub-forum

Hall of Fame - retired and former players (move threads here)

Roster Watch - active players

The Den - everything else

Definitely catch your drift.

You are a lazy, worthless moderator. :thumbsu:

My, aren't we the beligerent one.

Here's a mock-up. I'll delete it if people aren't happy with it. The title will probably change and there'll be some sort of floral tribute to the mighty in there I imagine.
