Lots of interviews with players and asking about our ruck issues. They all seem to mention Ackland (not to highly..) and mention that Hampson and Aisake will need someone to help show them the ropes but not one mention of Cloke.
Do you think that if we do take Kreuser we may just have to tell Cloke... sorry that's it son?

Honestly, I think this board over-rates Cloke alot!
He was decent at the start of the year playing as a back-up ruckman to Ackland for the majority of his games. However, a number of posters seem to think that will be able to be our starting ruckman next year and I just don't think he is up to it.
Frankly, neither Cloke or Ackland should be on our list after the next two seasons. By then, Aisake, Hampson, Jacobs and potentially Kreuzer and other draftees should make up the centre of our ruck division.

That's something Carlton will have to look into. Obviousely Hampson and Kreuzer will be our first choice ruckman
One of Aisake and Cloke will remain a ruckman i'd say - the other will move to another position on the ground.

cloke can play forward, and i wouldn't be surprised if he could play back as well
The great thing about Kreuzer is that he can play up forward as well. And he can play very well up there as well.
IMO, Ackland will be lucky to be on our list next year, and our ruck division will be Cloke, Hammo and Aisake. Once Kreuzer has been at the club for a couple of years, Cloke will make way for Kreuzer, and who knows how far Aisake could have developed by then.
Just a very exciting time to be following the Carlton Footy Club.

I would be really happy if we payed out ackland and told him to get stuffed. we have the room in the cap this year.

pretty sure the club will give sammy another year on the rookie list.
