JK keeps showing signs that he will be a player.

Eddie's best game for the club by an absolute mile, he was great. Now all we need from him is a bit of consistency.

Lance was encouraging in the sense that he has no trouble getting the ball and marking it. But his disposal is a HUGE worry. I'm all for keeping him if he can improve his disposal, but if he can't then I reckon it could be all over for him. His mark was an absolute beauty. Boy did he fly-and I can't help but feel sorry for the Melbourne player that he landed on :D

Don't know what's happened, but Kennedy's mobility seems to have gone up a notch or two since returning to the senior side. Got to much more contests and more importantly, got his hands on the ball in the contest. It's clear that he does need a preseason in the gym - in a couple of years time he'll hold onto those that he dropped today.

Kennedy showed today that if you dont write off a teenage Key Forward, instead of salivating over one that hasnt even played an AFL game, you might be pleasantly surprised.

i think murphy might win brownlow before gibbs, he is liked alot by the umpires and that helps a bit for the brownlow. i don't know about gibbs though.

Both will be superstars.
And I thought that Josh's game was pretty good tonight.

Also thought that Grigg showed a bit more today, and it was exciting to see and hear.

very pleased wit Hampson, Austin and Jamison's show of potential today. Grigg will be very good next year after another pre-season.

Gibbs was our best today.
JK................Jesus I wish he'd hang onto those marks. But he had a crack and seems to be more interested in stamping his name on things ie: getting pissed off when things don't go right for him. This is a good sign meaning he actually gives a ****.
Grigg is getting better with every game.
Jammo Sexton has pretty much arrived.
Jacko seemed a little lost out there.
Murph probably shouldn't have started or he was showing signs of a long hard year.
Hammo could be anything. great mark, great kick, GREAT leap.

All good.

Where are the threads complaining about Walker?

I must have missed this week's instalment.

It's shocking to see Walker run onto his left foot when he has to and hit Waite on the chest.

I'd prefer a player such as Pendlebury who would have to handball to his teammate when he can't kick on his left foot.

Squibs are good at dodging the tackler.

pendlebury is a left footer idiot... so he's pretty happy kicking on the left actually

good try tho pal

Kennedy will have those opposition supporters eating their words about "what a wasted pick he was". In two years he will be patrolling CHF ala Browny.

He is adjusting to the tempo off AFL that's all

I want to know what Thylacine thought of Simmo's goal on his right foot at the start of the second quarter?

One of JK's better games....Really needs a break-out game next season.

JK is getter better each game, looks more confident, looks quick, never gets beaten in a marking contest, always bring the ball to ground of he doesn't grab it. All we need is another little quick crubing forward in the draft this year and our forward line is set.

As for Jackson, out of all our draftees (except for gibbs and murphy) he is by far the best ... will go close to the rising star next year.
