OK. The season is over for the Blues.

We didn't win another wooden spoon, THANK GOD, and we have picks 1 and 3.

There has been a lot of passionate arguing about our "tanking" from both sides of the spectrum.

I would like to make a personal appeal for all Blues supporters to bury the hatchet and angst over the losses by the Blues in the second half of the year and move forward.

We should be directing our antagonism towards our opposition supporters rather than to ourselves.

We are the MIGHTY BLUES. We are the PREMIERSHIP club.

Besides the premierships, the thing that I truely love about the club is that we stick togther, through thick and thin. That we are always arrogant and proud, and that it is NEVER dependant on where we are on the ladder.

I recall many occassions watching the Blues getting beat badly whilst sitting in the Social Club at Princes Park. Although we were upset and knew our team wasn't as good as the opposition, we stuck together and used the Blues family favourite of how many premierships we have won.

You don't chose to be a Blues fan, you are born one.

Let's look to the future. To the "children" that have been playing over the past 8 weeks and how much better they will be having got a taste of the "Big Boys" league.

The club is at a turning point in history. We have exciting young guns coming up. Our "former" young guns, (Simpson, Thornton etc) have another season of experience and will be ready to guide the club to success.

The record membership this year tells me something. That most supporters can smell fear of the opposition teams and all the players that we have stockpiled.

I totally trust in Ratten. Over the preseason he will teach the young pups what to do when they taste the blood of the opposition team. To play players in their rightful positions. To teach them a proper game plan.

The players will be tought will honor CFC on their chest and learn to love the club. These young guns have been through a lot of crap in the past 2-3 years. Believe me when I say that once they get some success, they will NEVER look back.

TRUST IN THE BLUES, AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED.

If you think the tanking stigma will miraculously disappear now you are deluding yourself. It has laid a poisonous seed in your culture. Your coach is Pratts poodle, your players must be disillusioned, and your sponsors will be reconsidering their position. Good luck with the future.

what do they say about people in glass houses?

Dont start on a Carlton page about poisonouse seed, that this will become a culture.

This IS a proud club hit by hard times. It WILL be back

Richmond is a team in the first of its coaches 583 year plan to restore the club to greatness. Only another 582 years to go, but good luck with that.

Richmond is hardly a team to comment on a winning culture, and as for tanking to get a great player, well it must be tough to loose on the player you want, esp given terry has been playing to loose since round 4.

Perhaps before you offer anymore of your obvious insight as to the Carlton Football Club you should think a little bit more.

2007 is over now and i want to start thinking about how much better we will be in 2008 with Brett Ratten making all the difference to our team.

I think we have a great group of players that are ready to win some games.

I've never taken issue with an opposition supporter posting on our board, in fact have actually defended their rights, but this load of crap is indefensible. And coming from a Richmond supporter, perhaps the most dysfunctional team in the past two decades.

To quote some of the responses I'm sure you'll get from your post

That's what I am talking about. We should dishing it out to success-challenged teams like Bitchmond, and not on our own.
