Ok for those who actually have seen a bit of these players can I please have some of your advice from what what you have seen.

The top players from what I can gather in this years draft are

Kreuzer
Cotchin
Morton
Mastern
Ebert
Palmer
Henderson
Rioli
Mcenvoy
Rance
Grimes
Collier
These are generally the players that I have heard around the Traps as likely first rounders. Now for some Questions on them![

Kreuzer – how does he stack up to Luenberger at the same time last year? Is he a pure ruck or can he also go forward and take some strong grabs (Laycock style) or will he be like Fraser agile big man and be stuck between a midfielder and a ruck?
Cotchin – I hear his the best midfielder can he produce the x factor like a Hird or a Judd?
Morton – I keep hearing Utility is that because they cant find a solid position or is it a Hodge thing where they need him everywhere
Mastern – I get the impression that he is very good but not game breaking is he like a Cross type?
Ebert – whats his faults all iv been hearing is his good at this and good at this. Does he seem to have his head on right and be a hard worker
Palmer – he seems to have the x factor runs hard and is fast. Is there problems with his temperament, or does he have his head on straight
Henderson - I hear his a KPP defender but what type, a running CHB good reader of the ball, solid wont let his man get a kick???
Rioli – is he a aboriginal player with heaps of skill but comes in and out of the game or is he consistent
McEnvoy – I get the impression he can be a Froward/Ruckman, but like Mckernan who was good at both or Hale who is average to handy at both?
Rance – like Henderson what type of defender is he?
Grimes – I have heard comparison’s to Mitchell, Lewis, and Harris. So is he a pure extractor or can he go forward like a Lewis?
Collier - didn’t get drafted last year is the reason his so high base on the weaker draft and the lack of KPP or the fact the he has actually improved that much?

Thanks in advance for the help guys an gals

There's plenty of info in the draft preview threads
I suggest you start there, if it's not too much hard work

Rioli had little match fitness and to play the way he did is quite astonishing.

I think Kruezer will be a disappointing no.1 draft pick in 08.. The heavy role he will be thrown into a carlton. like gibbs..will mean his body will be beaten around each week and then expected to perform, by many harsh critics..For an 18 year old to be expected to ruck at AFL level then kick goals while resting forward may just be too much..After a unfair build up by the media from every direction i believe he will loose much confidence early next season when the media turn against as we no they do..2010 he will be first class..lets not judge his AFL football til then. the kids got a massive 'future'.....

Collier has shown a lot in the VFL as a KPP.

Clubs weren't doubting his athletic ability, or ability to play in the centre, it was whether he could play as a backman.

In my opinion he has shown that he can this year, and will be one of the most versatile options in the draft.

Kreuzer is an athletic freak, a ruckman with an ability to play as well if not better than most rovers.

Having said that, he is not a great tap ruckman, and Natanui gave him a bath at the Champs. At 199cm is a little short for a ruckman too. Better around the ground than Leuy, but not as good with the tap work.
