Here are the details for the last round of the season. Doesn't make much sense for the attendance figures but apparently it's what the clubs wanted.

MEDIA RELEASE
SANFL ROUND 23
MATCH FIXTURE CHANGES

The SANFL match program is formulated on the principle that home Clubs have the ability to
request when they wish to play over a weekend. Therefore, the Round 23 match program
has been determined on home Club requests for what they believe to be best for their
playing group and for their individual Club.

The four Clubs playing in the Finals Series have requested to play their matches at the
earliest possible time over Round 23, to allow their players to have the longest possible
break and recovery time before heading into what will be a challenging Finals Series.

With the final five teams locked in for the 2007 Finals Series, this weekend’s matches will determine the
Finals draw for next weekend. Top spot on the ladder is now locked away with Central District taking
out the Minor Premiership for season 2007. The positioning for the Eagles, North Adelaide, Sturt and
Glenelg will depend upon results in their respective matches this weekend.

Why do Westies and Port & South and Norwood want to play 2pm on a Saturdy arvo? You can understand Eagles, glenelg North and South - but the other 4?

F***ing stupid.

Why do Westies and Port & South and Norwood want to play 2pm on a Saturdy arvo?

Noone wants to come and see these teams now anyway!

All of these teams would wish for their seasons to be over ASAP.

I don't have a problem with the scheduling.

Plus there's A-League action at Hindy... morons!!!

One game on Saturday to fulfil ABC contract requirements, the rest on Sunday arvo. That would have been more suitable.

Well first match results - Roosters by seven
15.5 - 15.12

Sturt were dominated for a lot of the game, specially in the 2nd and 3rd quarter... Seems Roosters REALLLLYY wanted to win though :p

Incredible result considering Sturt was in front by 50 points during the third quarter. North kicked 11 of the final 13 goals of the match.
