I din't get to see the game yesterday can anyone giveme a run down on how Grigg wnet and also Austin in his 1st game and where he played.

Do people see these two pushing for a regular spot on our list next year or just adding depth to cover injuries etc?

Grigg got his hands on the ball a few times. has great delivery and probably should have tried to kick a couple on the run outside 50.

Austin however was ineffective. probably a little out of his depth but cant really say too much bad about him considering he was playing in a game that required us to lose and he was probably on the bench for half a game!!

Agree

Grigg - I reckon this kid will be a cracker. Has an awesome physique, penetrating left foot, great burst of pace and has really settled since his first game. Anyone who doubts he can become a good player must have rocks in their head.

Austin didn't do anything that stood out to me and was caught hopelessly out of position a couple of times. That said - first gamer in the last game of the year in a game the club probably wanted to lose. I look forward to seeing him in a few more games next year.

Grigg I'm still not sold on with his disposal.. It's not as bad as 1AW but he tends to float his kicks a bit too much.. Has good pace and can find the ball but needs to get his kicking sorted out

Austin isn't ready for AFL and didn't have any impact

still unsure on Grigg. I know he has only played a handful of games, but he just doesn't know where to position himself properly. BUt he should learn that with experience! One thing i loved about him yesterday is how he took players on. I know he did it about twice and missed the shot at goal both times, but i like to see that confidence in such a young player.

Austin did alright for his first match, but he has to learn to commit to the punch and stick right with his man. But he'll be a good player with some experience under his belt.

Future is promising! :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Grigg will be a player for sure.
I reckon he will play close to 22 games next year.

Austin, well, i'm gald he got to play 1 senior game before the season ended, however, he will continue to develop, and I reckon we might have a player on our hands here as well, given what he has shown us with the Bullants.
