Well, do we?

Secondly - does anyone know if it makes a difference to the game if the match it played with the roof closed?

Another thing, when we beat Carlton at the Dome, was the roof open or closed?

Depends on the weather, however given the later start of the game and hence the later finish they might close the roof to keep the lighting contstant. They may do this anyway to make it look better on T.V. When we played Carlton it was closed (night game).

Personally I hope it is closed. I'm sitting in Bay 42 and I'll have the sun in my eyes for most of the match if its not closed. It's also shocking to watch when the play goes in and out of shadows.

Where do all your thread ideas come from Phil.. lol?

Same difference!

Game against Carlton, the roof was closed!

I think we play better with the roof open.. for some reason when the roof is closed it creates an atmosphere and the opposition team plays better! Well maybe.. lol :o

Hope we don't consider this the deciding factor in Saturday's match.

I hope its closed..

Our skills look better when the play with a yellow footy.

Also, i hate the play going in and out of the shadows...

It's going to be 20 degrees and sunny on Saturday according to the forecast.

The roof should and will be open if this is the case.

Play with it open and kick against the Sun in the first quarter...we need every trick we can take.

do we get a choice?

No.

At every AFL match there is a senior AFL official representing the.. afl who are the hirers of the stadium for the event.

At Telstra Dome the AFL representative decides if the roof is to be open or closed. Once the decision is made they have to advise the umpires to change the balls from either yellow or red to yellow or red, which ever is the appropriate color.

For what its worth, 3 of our few losses at the Dome have been with the roof open.

Yes but we smashed the Blues because they are shit....the roof being closed had nothing to do with it.
