I personally remember Ron wearing his Fitzroy tie and when I asked him about it he said that the Fremantle board were going to crack the shits but he was going to tell them to get stuffed.
Kevin Murray was there and came out on to the ground at the start or the end in his guernsey and I actually held his jacket for him whilst he was doing this and it was one of the proudest moments of my life, albeit on the saddest of days.
