with one day to go, looks like WI will win the series 2-1, and thus the ICC Test table will remain unchanged.

chasing 408 to win, India are 7/237 with 90 overs to go, with no recognised batsmen left, just Ratra the keeper and the bowlers (although Singh is already out). Ratra did score a century in the last test though. Tendulkar finally pulled his finger out scoring 86, from memory, his first time in double figure for 5 innings.

If India were to win, they would move to 6th, but as a loss is probable at this stage, they will remain 8th.

India traditionally don't get a lot of runs from their tail and therefore would be very, very long odds to win this match.

Cheers!!

I hope the Windies do it, they need the result more. Cricket is uncontested as the no.1 sport in India, the same may not be said of the Windies.

Watched a fair bit of this series....WI deserved to win, but the over rates from both sides were turgid (12.5, 13 per hour) for a lot of the tests, and I'd have to say the Indian side is the worst international fielding side I have ever seen. Sachin apart (and dravid is a fine slip) the rest looked like amateurs for a great deal of the time.....
