Haha he's bowled pretty well has Jimmy. It was only a matter of time until Ganguly got out though, was never at home.

Good to hear Blowers back on Test Match Special- anyone know where he has been the past month or two? Hope it was just time away and not a medical problem....maybe he was spotting pigeons?

Generally only works a number of TMS hours a year, reading his biog he had some serious heart complaints a few years ago where he nearly passed on so no wonder he takes a rest now and then. :) Wright opening up? Dimi has got to go in ahead of Fred surely?

And Anderson gets another wicket....

And now Flintoff gets in on the act.

Dravid gone for a duck, India struggling.

He was supposed to be at the Oval for the last match but he forgot to turn up.

First was the correct decision, the second wasn't.

Like poetry in motion, gave them nothing to hit and just bowled it straight, like the good old days ;)

I'm just happy he's proving myself and Warnie right... a lot of pepple said he couldn't cut it internationally, he doesn't bowl fast enough... who needs 80mph'ers when you've got Dimi's dibblydobblers, not many teams have a full time bowler who does that so it's hard to time away... :D

9 down... Dhoni going off now

ShearMagic9

Dhoni caught at long off off Freddie.

Great knock by him, at least gives their bowlers something to bowl at, even though it's not much.

On a side note.

NZ 128/4 after 15 in the T:20 warm up against Australia.

Hilfenhaus with 3 wickets for 11 runs, Bing with 1 for 14.

Symonds and Hogg getting smashed.

Hogg's figures are tripe. For our games in Cape town where it has rained non-stopped for months it will get down to the pacemen.

Poms 2/11 in reply. Prior and Wright both quack!

Bell showing why he is England's MOTS, playing the bowling nicely...needs to keep things steady and not get a Peaheartsen rush of blood.....

2 for 73

And almost as I type it, Bell is run out...of course, a call from Peaheartsen, who then stopped.....Bell too far down.

In case you didnt realise and I can understand with the pathetic Lions not in the finals, but the Pies were playing a final, having not seen any of the Indian innings I wont comment on the maggots but good to see the Indians obviously did their usual trick of ****ing up under pressure :D

I think you'll find it was great bowling from Dims and Monty, lots of pressure in the middle, giving them no chance to score, Collywobbles captained well i thought

Nope- I figured where you were, ed.....but you'll need to check out those decisions in the name of fairss....by the way, your buddy Hartley is third umpire today....

Hey, Sycophant- ya gotta love the comment from TMS...."England should win this game, if Fat Girl doesn't run out the rest of the team....."

Well, Sycophant will be going nuts....of the bats, it was either that or Collingwood....but the bowlers put them on the path...you could make a good case for Dimi....did you catch on TMS that both Dimi and Bell have their bags packed for a late call up to south Africa?

Sir IB was saying he doesn't think FF will be going to SA so Dimi'll get a call up, we do kind of need him at Hants really, Warne can't do it all

Sky lads get the privelege... Beefy, Nass, Gower, Shastri and someone else i can't remember... bowlers don't stand a chance, especially when Dimi should have had 4fer :thumbsd:

Dimi has now been called up to the squad to replace Sidebottom. Bell must be covering for Flintoff.

Poor decision that.

Great win, we are slowly improving in this form.

Great win, brilliant captaincy and batting by Colly

But the best bit is we now have the 2nd most important trophy in World Cricket behind the Commbank trophy :D

And I think that Dravid made a mistake by batting first under cloud cover.
