Interested in your opinion, William.

I was discussing the match with a (also Bulldog supporting) friend, and was most concerned how the Bulldogs small backline would cover Kingsley, Graham and Mooney. Looks like Thompson solved the problem for us.

Up the other end, Scarlett and Harley will have to spread themselves around Grant, Bandy and Saunders (I know Woolnough is tall, but is he heavy enough to take Saunders?).

Whaddaya reckon?

Points well taken, Jim, but I think that matchups aside, the Cats seem to take on a different synergy when playing at their true home.

But with what you said, I think Thompson may have an ace up his sleeve, tactics-wise, to exploits the Bulldogs' undersized back line. We'll wait and see about that...

It won't be easy, but I think the Cats will win by four goals.

Cheers,
William

I am very confident going into this week's game against the Western Buldogs at Skilled Stadium. We have played 3 of the top sides, (all away) in the last 3 weeks and I think we'll be better for the experience.

We need to get more out of our senior players, Graham, Riccardi, Sholl and King to be able to take all the pressure off our younger players, but returning to a ground where our average winning margin is 15 goals this season, I think we'll be too strong for the Buldogs. :):)

Go Cats!!
