Good news that SA is close to signing Andy Flower, once rated the best batsman in the world ! Paul Wilson has signed with WA today too.

This would be a fantastic signing for South Australia if they can get such a quality international player like Andy Flower.
Cheers!!

I guess Chappell no longer has much confidence in Graeme Manou. Now the Redbacks have released Wilson from his contract to head to bouncier pastures West & Swain, they need to chase Fleming as Dizzy wont play many games with his Australian duties. ie. Need some backup for Rofe, Harrity & Smith. Also, would have though the Redbacks would be chasing an opening batsman like Hussey.
Well put Kane.
At the moment with the loss of Wilson SA should be more concerned about it's bowling attack which last season was far from being all that impressive even when Dzzy was available. Fowler would be a great addition but he won't help u win the shield.

We've got him here at Essex he hasn't set the world alight yet but he's come in & shown his quality in a load of the one day games playing attacking innings to set up victories. You're right he is class & I reckon he's gonna hit gold for us pretty soon.
I dunno what the wk situation is at SA but having him also gives them the chance of an extra batsman especially in the 1 dayers (or even an extra bowler if you do it that way)

Hands off :D
After loosing Katich, our batting is looking a little thin but hopefully a couple of our youngsters can step up.
Good luck on Andy Flower, he will be a good player for you me thinks. Much like former Zimaz opening batsman Goodwin was for us.

it would be great for manou(& everyon else for that matter) to learn from such a briniant player Andy Flower with both keeping and batting!!!!!!!!!!!
It would be a great coo for SA :D cause its been our batting that have let us down:( badly in the last 2-3 years!!!!!!!
He's just come good for my guys Essex against Northants in the county championship, he hit 103 no & 92 no to lead us to a win after Northants posted 645 in the first innings!
Snap him up I say he's the nearest thing to a safe bet.
Apparently South Australia is also close to signing Mark Higgs from NSW.
