Ha, got you all good. Hopefully not too many heart attacks from people reading the title.
The following are the umpires for this weekend (with their record for Hawthorn games this year).
Vozzo- 2W 1L
Rosebury- 1L
McLaren- 3W 1L
Thoughts on them?
I reckon they're all fine, upstanding gentlemen (;)).

I reckon McLaren is an over officious ponce.
Ever since the Hird Footy Show incident, I've disliked him more.

Jesus Phil - I have got a heart prob, but at least now I have a defrib to deal with these little scares.
I don't really care apart from:
1. No Goldspanker - his free kicks probably even up, it's just he gives non existants that kill us on the scoreboard and then pays shit backline frees to us that make it look fair.
2. They umpire the game consistantly for both sides.
3. They should have a look collectively at the Hawks/Lions game and follow the lead of those umpires ie; let it go and only pay the frees that are blatantly there. In an ideal world both teams would be lucky to score ten free kicks unless the game had turned decidedly dirty.
I thought the date was 12/9, not 1/4.....

Vozzo is as bad as Goldspink. He gave a number of soft free kicks to Essendon in the first quarter of the prelim in 01 that resulted in soft goals to Essendon.

95% sure McLauren has not umpired that many Hawthorn games (If even one). Rosebury has umpired more than one game as well.

I haven't heard that phrase used for a while. I used to spend a fair bit of time on racecourses and it is so true.
