Rookie listed players

I'd like to know how ppl rate the players we have on our rookie list.
If ppl have seen abit of the rookie listed players, would it be alrite if you could write a paragraph on how they play & weather they will be retained as a rookie, elevated to the senior list or cut.

I'd say that McEntee is likely to be elevated. Has played Box Hill seniors this season and he and Renouf have shared ruck duties (Nick Smith, former Melbourne-listed ruckman, has played in the back-line).

Collins and Suckling have been injured for a fair chunk of the season. Up to the club to determine whether they're worth re-rookieing for next season.

Sam Gibson.....Started season very well at Box Hill. Has a big engine and could play as an outside release player at senior level. Mature age rookie. Think they will have seen enough and will make a call on elevating him or delisting. Wouldn't think they would just put him back on as a rookie.

McEntee......improved again througn the year. I hope they promote him to senior list.

Collins...........Saw only briefly. Injury limited his season. H
has a bit of class about him.

Suckling....has good left foot disposal. Not tall and does not appear to be overly quick. Only played well when across half back and is up against some bigger or quicker players already on our list.

yeah, i certainly hope they promote mcentee, it would give us a very solid ruck division. in an ideal world, leaving him as a rookie would allow us more flexibility for drafting. yet i can't see another club not picking him up, so we have to promote him.

gibson has shown a bit, but i still question whether he could make the improvement at his age to make afl standards. i would let him slide.

one promotion per year is enough.

however, i know little of the others, so perhaps they may be worth of retaining on to the rookie list.
