I can see the Kangas coming out in the first term trying to really rough us up. Bashing into us at every opportunity, niggling away at us and moving our focus to the body rather than the ball.

We really need to stay strong and keep our attention on the footy and go harder than last week until we settle into a nice groove.

Im pumped, who's ready?

We have not been physically intimidated by a team this year and that's not about to start now.

If anything I'd say we're more likely to put ourselves off being physical with them.

It was only 11 days ago that we came out against Sydney and were insipid...

I just want to make sure through my telekenetic thread powers that the boys are switched on and go straight and hard at the ball...

Not true. Did you watch Adelaide at AAMI, not pretty. I think we will be fine physically vs kangas. If the they have brought in hansen maybe the hawks will throw some weight around:thumbsu:

Would love to see the Roos come out fired up and start with us. One of the most pleasing aspects of our season is the fact that we aren't physically intimidated by opponents. I hope they start with The Chief. His wrestling efforts on centre wing last week were gold. :D

The Roos will come out absolutely firing! I wouldn't be suprised if there was a malee at the game!

I hope Jordan Lewis starts off in the forward half! He said during the week he owes buddy!?:thumbsu:Watch for Lewis to rip archers head off if he lays a finger on Buddy!!:)Hes now the new intimidator! Is it just me but Lewis last week reminded me so much of DIPPER! cant put a finger on why?:confused:whether its his gait or kicking style??

i hope he's stupid enough to. It didn't work too well for the roos last week.

I also love calling Archer a thug, because beneath the 300 games, premierships and courage is a dirty bastard who loves fighting people for no reason. Can't wait to send him into retirement

It's a really successful ploy ... it worked a treat against Geelong last week :)

If it happens, all the Hawks have to do is play footy, and we'll win. That tactic can only work if you are distracted from what you are supposed to be doing.

Don't worry boys, the Gooch will have his head screwed on tight - no losing focus. I think a few of the boys will be roughing up the Roos early on, just hope no-one gets reported/suspended.

Watch for the Gooch's delivery into the forward line, he'll be running of his man flat-out.

Interesting to hear about Lewis looking after Buddy, he may need some help, I expect more than one or two of the Kanga boys will go after Franklin - hope they don't hurt him, we kinda need him!

Buddy will be fine. Did you see him milk the free against Torney, I think he even got reported. If they go him, he might get a few cheap ones. Let them focus on the physical stuff, we'l put in on the score-board.
