THE SANFL grand final may moved to Adelaide Oval as early as 2009.

Despite the league's most important game being played at the home of football - AAMI Stadium - since 1974, SANFL executive commissioner Leigh Whicker has floated the idea of change.

Citing a recent poll on the league's website - in which respondents voted strongly in favour of a return to SACA headquarters - Whicker said a move would be discussed among the clubs.

How many ppl go to the SANFL GF, isnt about 25,000, from what I know thats pretty close to the AO capacity so I reckon it would be good to have the GF there, more atmosphere.

25K when it's Centrals v Eagles...

Get two powerhouse teams and you could push 40K.

The problem is, the SANFL has only got one powerhouse team at the moment: CENTRALS!

I would love to see the SANFL GF at Adelaide Oval istead of the wilderness that is footy park, with no decent transport complete with nazi officials. Let's make Adelaide Oval the home of real footy and not use the SA home of the over umpired pansy game that the AFL league has become:D Go The Roosters
