I am shattered right now =(
We played our guts out in the absence of our three musketeers struck down with injury from the very cruel hand of fate. I'm very proud of you boys, in a season plagued with injury, controversy and just sheer bad luck....reaching a semi-final was a big effort.
Positivesfrom the match:
1. Priddis, Hurn, LeCras, Rosa and McNamara were brilliant throughout the season so we got a great bunch of youngsters for next year.
2. We don't get into the prelim so Kerr wont risk his finger and become a Daniel Chick.
3. Juddy won't further damage his groin and can go into surgery ASAP which will be good for the Eagles if he decides to stay, which leads me to my next and final point.
4. THE QUESTION will finally be answered. Will Chris Judd stay in Perth or will he move back to his hometown Melbourne? If he does decide to leave, he will surely be a villain for the Eagles which adds further salt into the wound of tonight's loss.
In conclusion, Eagles have plenty to look forward to next year with our supreme midfield hopefully recovering from injury and going into the next season fresh and full of running. Other kiddies such as Priddis, LeCras, Rosa, Hurn, McNamara, M. Brown, Schofield, Morton, Graham, Butler will also add to the supreme list of names. Unlucky boys for this season....WEST COAST EAGLES 2008!
ps. Go Geelong next week!
