Pardon my ignorance, but I can't seem to find any information over here in Victoria. Why was he chaired off? Is he retiring?

Yep, retiring - as is Hank Gloede (property manager). Both of them are Life Members of the club, too.

Yeah he is. There was an interview on Today Tonight or 7 news with him during the week about it. Missed it though.

OK. Thank you. Won't seem the same without the white haired wonder milling around. I thought he must've been when he did the coin toss. But I didn't hear anything mentioned.
I thought that was incredibly classy by your blokes and the club in general. Although the players are the ones who get most of the public adulation, people forget that there are plenty behind the scenes who do work that, if it doesnt get done, well the players dont perform at the level they do. Great scenes last night from your players, esp after a loss like that one.
