Gawn, although I almost changed my mind seeing his reaction last night.
I hope it gets sorted quickly enough that we can get Fev and pick #1 or #3 orr Carlton :thumbsu:

Why wouldn't he sign up for the Eagles?
Captain of the best or equal best squad of players in the league. Guarenteed of playing finals for a super club which makes monstrous amounts of money. He gets to play in front of family and friends in Victoria at least 8 times a year not including finals.

The question is why would he want to start again with a bottom club?

This is what I don't understand. Why would he leave? Because of the drug scandals earlier in the year? He needs to be closer to mummy and daddy? He's 24 FFS.
People talk about the fishbowl that is Perth, but if he goes to play in Melbourne then the pressure and scrutiny on him will be just as intense because any club that gets him is going to give up alot.
Unless he really hates living in Perth, I can't for the life of me, understand him making a decision to go.

For the first time, today I've actually started feeling he may go. Woosha's interview on 3AW, in which he said nothing, was probably the thing that made me most nervous

I know that doesn't make sense but......

He'll sign on for 2 years. After that he'll sign on for another 3 and end up staying till he's 35.

In that time we will have won 3 premierships and he would have 2 more brownlows and another norm smith.

I have no idea which way he'll decide.

But geez - if he didn't sign on it would cap off a pretty disapointing season.

Freaking injuries and other smack that has gone on.

CMON JUDDY - sign on and stop causing this circus for nothing.

If he does go a lot of us might have to think about changing out nicks ha

I predict it's announced that he'll leave but then, after a few days, he changes his mind and stays.

It's all very romantic...Like Peter Matera that time with the Demons.

As annoying as this constant, tiresome conjecture is Judd did say he would be making his decision at the end of the season, and he stuck to his guns.

Personally, I'll still go along with someone who's as close to him as anyone (bar Twiggers) and that's Kerr, who said straight out, unscripted, unrehearsed "He's staying".

Re-sign for 3 years is my bet.

I'm going to be bitter if he goes.

We've still got a great window to win a flag while Cousins is around. If Judd bails, I'm not sure that we're as much of a chance, even if we pick up a young gun in the top 3 of the draft.

Judd's 24. Why can't he wait another 2 years to go back to Melbourne?

The headline doesn't match the content of the article.
