He had personal problems and wanted to go back to Melbourne. I'm sure if we was mentally fine when he was with us we would have kept him. Silly thread.

Well there was actually. He had to go through a lot of re-inventing himself in the seconds before he got a gig in the firsts.

It wasn't just the tape thing
I always thought he was a good player.. they didn't give him enough chances. But who knows, he might have been our Rodan. At least he's doing something good at another club. :thumbsu:

As has been said, don't think his ability was the main thing in question, he showed enough in one quarter v Richmond in 05' (on debut IIRC) to highlight he could play.

Kicked 3 or 4 (actually this year's Record lists him with career goals as 2, so I must have thought wrong) in the first quarter of his debut, but only played 4 games. We had him running around in the pocket from memory. Record also suggests he was rookie listed, not on our main list.
