Who realistically can they trade for and are they out of contract or willing to leave their club (e.g contract expiries)?

I'd been gunning for Fevola. Carlton want Judd, so let's try and get what we need for him.

Otherwise, Mark Williams from Hawthorn would be a good get. Hawthorn have way too many forwards.

Who else is there that we could realistically get?

Fev, for a couple of reasons:

What we have lacked for years, possibly what we have ALWAYS lacked, is a forward who can take a contested mark from anything. Lynch takes the dominant part of his marks on the lead, be it contested or uncontested. Its only in recent times that he has started to take contested, hold his position marks. Fev can, and does, do both of those regularly, and he has the capacity to simply stand on his opponent's head. Our only real high flying mark in the side atm is Hunter, who is supposed to be our CHB. Of all of our forwards, none can take a mark like Robbo, Newton, Ottens or Fev.
Fev is a sharpshooter. We play a game where if the player is free in the pocket, we kick it to him. Fev's accuracy from distance or on an angle are amongst the best in the league
I believe he can teach Lynch a thing or 5. Lynch is an emerging player, Fev is a star. I think Lynch would become a better player still with Fev alongside him at training and in the 50m arc.
Fev has pace, which is essential on Subiaco Oval.

Fev or Buddy. We could only get buddy if we give them Judd. Fev is a possibilty - would have to give up our first rounder and probably Rosa, maybe even Priddis.

Would Fev + pick 3 be enough for WCE?

Itd be enough for me, but you have to please Woosha and not me. Who knows, I wouldnt be surprised if we get more.

TBH if WCE want more then what we're willing to offer (1,3+Fev) I think we shouldn't put our future in jeopardy.

My final offer would be 3,20 and Fev and that'd still hurt our list.

Here's hoping we snare Judd for Fev and a pick.

Itd depend on alot of factors. I imagine we would want to trade our pick 13 + 30 for a midfielder to replace Judd. Hopefully Travis Johnstone. We may also prefer Pick 1 (can it be trade?) pick 3 and pick 20 and trade for Russel Robertson.

Or less... We can argue as supporters all we like about what is fair and what isn't but as you said at the end of the day it is all up to Ratten and Woosha.

Could be pick 1,3 and fev for Judd or just fev for judd.......who knows:confused:

You wouldn't swap him for Fev in a straight swap?

Almost everyone has a price.

Would picks even come into it? It is almost unknown for this scenario to come up, two top players wanting to move clubs at the same time. But that being said an injured superstar vs a loose cannon goal kicking machine would seem like an obvious straight swap.

We're talking about the top echelon of players here. On the same tier as Carey and Ablett. And if you're not sure about that, just think about the hype Chris Judd has created.

Fevola is a star but he's two levels down. It would take Fev and Murphy or Fev and Gibbs to get Judd.

As quality goes up the price goes up at a higher proportionate rate. This is true about most things.

Are you on drugs?.....I posted respectfully on your board, it wouldn't hurt to reply in the same manner.
....We're talking about the top echelon of players here ..... Fevola is a star but he's two levels down....Judd may never reach that level again, or if he does it may be intermittently. Fevola is certainly one level down from a fit Judd but he would be a killer addition to your structure. For you to hold out for picks or other players would be crazy brave.

Put the crack pipe down.

I think "If Judd is Fit" should be added to every sentence concerning trades of the great man...

They are talking the same surgery that Harry Kewell had in the Slimes this morning...That turned out well...
