It gives me great pleasure to dedicated this song to the Big Pineapple and his mates from the scrubbers.

Good Old Essendon forever,
They know how to lose a game.
Side by side they cry together,
As they uphold their losers name.
See the barrackers are fighting,
As all Old Essendon barrackers do.
Oh, the premiership's a pipe dream
For good Old Essendon.

Old Essendon would forever regret not going up to A section. They had the chance of a lifetime staring them in the face to mix it with the likes of Old Xavs, Uni Blues, Old Brighton in 2008-and blew it. After all, I reckon (and I don't know if you'd agree with me on this or not) the B Section preliminary final is the hardest game to play in the whole of the VAFA. And the reason? It's the last chance to reach possibly the pinnacle of the VAFA competiton-A Section.

Is it just possible that they might do it in 2008? Why is it that you (Jas) do the unaustralian thing of knocking the loser? They had a go & missed out - so be it. Get a life or just give us another meaningless vote chart!! Surely we are due!!

Vafa06, brilliant thread. Although they won't always be in B grade, they will drop to C and then further. They deserve everything they get. They've been telling us for 2 years that they would win A section.

Who have you been hearing that from? I don't think many people in and around OEG would say they were ready to go up to A last year or the year before, let alone win it.

Like there isn't enough material available with the loss, but you have to make sh!t up. Must have a massive chip on your shoulder. Sounds a bit like a St Bernards tosser who should know all about dropping grades

Not coping well there Snake. I wouldn't either with another wasted year at Old Keilor. Not much you can say really, my advice is to ride out the storm, stay low and hope one day your club wins a final when it matters, and then post loud and often.

Thats why you had the posts removed when your name came out! Seeing "you" know that he is looking forward to celebrating a flag - ask him to show some courage & drop a line at D4 - the sausage has many people that wish to catch up! Between you two & being smart, surely you can arrange this.
